Terms of Use

Plain-English summary of the terms under which this hosted instance is offered.

This is an alpha-stage service. Behavior, URLs, schemas, and storage may change at any time without warning.

No uptime guarantee

This site is provided on a best-effort basis with no service-level agreement. Maps you create or share may become unavailable due to maintenance, deploys, infrastructure failures, capacity limits, eviction policies, or operator decisions — without prior notice.

In particular, snapshots accessed via /m/<id> are deleted 90 days after they were last opened. Do not rely on these URLs for long-term storage. If a map matters, use Export .flowgo to download it and keep your own copy. Retention windows for every category of data are listed in the Privacy Notice.

No liability for content

This service lets visitors and AI agents create, edit, and share maps. The maintainers of flowgo and the operators of this site are not responsible for the content of any map created or shared through it. Maps are user-generated; the operator does not review, moderate, or endorse them.

If you encounter content that violates applicable law or rights you hold, contact Exaptation via the address listed on the Legal Notice page so the snapshot can be removed.

No warranty

The service is provided "as-is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operators disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data (such as a map snapshot becoming unavailable).

Open source

flowgo itself is open source — see github.com/lassediercks/flowgo. You can run your own instance at any time using the published binaries; this hosted service is one (and not the only) way to use the project.

Identity & data protection

For company details, see the Legal Notice.

Data protection for this service is covered by the flowgo Privacy Notice — controller identity, what we process and why, the legal bases, the cookies we set, how long each category of data is kept, who else sees it, and your rights under the GDPR.

Accounts & data we store

Short version: anonymous editing stores no personal data — a per-browser session cookie holds the current draft in memory for 24 hours. If you sign in, we store your email address (for sign-in links only, never marketing), account timestamps, and the maps you save. Passwords do not exist; sign-in tokens are stored only as SHA-256 digests.

The full account picture — including retention periods and the IP address kept briefly for rate limiting — is in the Privacy Notice.

You can delete your account yourself at /account. It removes your account record, saved maps and sessions immediately and permanently. Shared /m/<id> snapshots are not linked to your account — email us the link if you want one taken down sooner than its 90-day expiry.
